NovaTape
NovaTape is a single-sided butyl adhesive seaming tape that is backed with NovaTak’s butyl rubber membrane that ionically fuses to fresh concrete to eliminate lateral water migration along the seam. NovaTape is used for detailing positive lap seams and for patching the NovaTak membrane. NovaTape’s butyl adhesive forms an integral bond to the NovaTak butyl membrane that rivals the strength of heat-welded seams while maintaining the flexibility of a butyl rubber membrane. NovaTape is a 70 mil (1.8 mm), dual-layer seaming tape consisting of a release liner- protected adhesive butyl layer that is bonded to a NovaTak butyl rubber membrane backing.
